Geneva Louise Tallant was born November 17, 1928 in Malvern, Arkansas. She was the fifth of seven children of Arthur and Flora Tallant. She was married to Lewis Allen.  Geneva is survived by her two daughters, Bobbie and (Tommy) Holiman of Rogers, AR and Sharon and (Clyde) Gray of Springfield, MO and her son, Rick and (Deb) Allen of Anna, TX.  She is predeceased by her former husband and her son, William Drue Allen of Williamsburg, VA.  Geneva has ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister Faye Borland of Arkadelphia, AR and by her brother, Max Tallant of Tyler, TX.

A graduate of Malvern High School, Geneva was employed as a clerk with the Clark County courthouse in Arkadelphia, a secretary for the Little Rock chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, an administrative assistant for Dad the Family Shepherd, and served as receptionist for Kenneth Starr during the Whitewater investigation of Bill Clinton.

Geneva was an active member of the Encouragers Sunday School class at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX and sang soprano in the senior Choir.  She enjoyed family, political television shows, reading, quilting, and

Her wit, intelligence, sharp sense of dress style, and long telephone conversations will be missed by all.

Geneva will always be remembered as a dear friend with a kind heart. I worked with Geneva at the Clark County courthouse in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. I will truly remember her stylish fashions and her sense of humor. May God bless and keep her family. Mable
